A Scottish country outfitter founded in 1929 in Kelso by Arch Hume, built on made-to-measure tailoring using fine tweeds and cloths before expanding into curated ready-to-wear. It stayed in the Hume family for 91 years until passing to local owners David Nuttall (also managing director of William Lockie) and his daughter Rachel Thomson in 2020. Alongside its own tailoring and alterations service, it stocks field-sports and country brands including Barbour, RM Williams, Dubarry, William Lockie and Schoffel, plus formalwear and kilt hire.
