Brook Taverner
Visit websiteAn English tailoring house founded in 1912 by Frank Brook and Walter Taverner, who met on a boat to Calcutta and started out selling buttons, then linings, then cloth, before building one of the country's largest menswear fabric ranges between the wars. It added a cut, make and trim tailoring service in 1967 and a ready-to-wear line five years later. Still based in Keighley, Yorkshire, its fabric business continues to supply traditional tailors, including several on Savile Row.
