A Savile Row tailor founded in 2008 by two former bankers, Ian Meiers and James Sleater, who left the City after that year's financial crash, each put in £20,000 to start it, drawing on family tailoring and textile backgrounds (Meiers' mother tailored for the Queen; Sleater's family owned a cotton mill). It opened its first permanent store in the City of London in 2009, moved to a shared Savile Row shop with Chittleborough & Morgan in 2010, then took its own Savile Row premises in 2013. It's since become the youngest, and now largest, tailoring house on the Row, with further shops in New York and Stockholm.
