Campbell's of Beauly was founded in 1858 by Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Hepburn as The Highland Tweed House, a tailoring shop on Beauly's village square that passed to the Campbell family in 1922 and has held Royal Warrants from the Duke of Windsor, the Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth II, and King Charles III. Alongside its tailoring, the shop carries an extensive knitwear range made in Britain, including Shetland wool jumpers, Fair Isle slipovers and waistcoats, Donegal lambswool cardigans, and cashmere crew necks knitted in Scotland. It is now run by John and Nicola Sugden after four generations of Campbell family ownership, still trading from its original Beauly shop with its historic timber counters and brass fittings.
