Corneliani traces back to 1930, when Alfredo Corneliani began producing handcrafted raincoats and outerwear in Mantua, Italy. His sons, Claudio and Carlalberto, formally founded Corneliani Spa in 1958, growing it into one of Italy's leading menswear houses. The company still manufactures in Mantua today, where around 600 tailors, seamstresses, and pattern makers produce the suits and sportcoats the brand is best known for.
