Dalle Piane Cashmere was founded in 2001 in Prato, Italy, by the Dondini family, whose knitting craft had already passed through three generations, from grandfather Valter's yarn-spinning workshop to his sons Roberto and Massimo. After years supplying luxury labels from their family workshop, the Dondinis launched Dalle Piane as their own brand, built on the textile expertise of the historic Prato district. The label produces 100% Made in Italy cashmere knitwear using the craftsmanship developed across the family's three generations.
