De Petrillo was founded in Naples in 2009 by Benedetto De Petrillo, who had spent years producing garments for other tailoring houses before launching his own. Rather than naming the label after himself as a master tailor, a title he says isn't his to claim, he built it around the soft, unstructured silhouette that defines traditional Neapolitan tailoring, given a contemporary edge. Still family-owned, De Petrillo now focuses on modern, accessibly priced ready-to-wear tailoring rooted in that Neapolitan heritage.
