DITA Eyewear was founded in 1995 by childhood friends Jeff Solorio and John Juniper, who grew up together in Laguna Beach, California, and set out to bring old Hollywood glamour into modern eyewear design. Based in Aliso Viejo, California, the brand became known for pushing eyewear beyond its traditional role as an accessory, using innovative production techniques to create both bold character frames and refined, minimalist shapes. DITA's design language helped shift high-end eyewear toward being treated as a genuine luxury product in its own right.
