Façonnable
Visit websiteFaçonnable began as a bespoke tailoring shop on Nice's rue Paradis, opened in 1950 by master tailor Jean Goldberg and known for dressing Cannes Film Festival regulars including Cary Grant and Tony Curtis. His son Albert took over in 1961 and, after a trip to Brooks Brothers in New York, shifted the business to ready-to-wear, renaming it Façonnable, from the French "façonner," to shape. It's since passed out of the Goldberg family and is now owned by M1 Group, a Beirut-based holding company.
