Fursac
Visit websiteFursac was founded in Paris in 1973 by the Laufer brothers, who named the label after Saint-Étienne-de-Fursac, the Creuse village where they set up their first workshops, and built it initially as a wholesale suit manufacturer sold through other stores rather than its own. Edmond Cohen took over in 1990 and relaunched the brand with its first standalone store in 1992, on rue de Richelieu at the former address of High Life Taylor, a 19th-century Paris tailoring landmark. SMCP, the group behind Sandro, Maje and Claudie Pierlot, acquired Fursac in 2019.
