Hawes & Curtis
Visit websiteRalph Hawes and George Frederic "Freddie" Curtis, two tailors, opened the first Hawes & Curtis shop in the Piccadilly Arcade, at the corner of Jermyn Street, in 1913. The business collected four Royal Warrants over the following decades (starting with one from the Prince of Wales in 1922, followed by King George VI in 1938 and the Duke of Edinburgh in 1957) while dressing clients including the Duke of Windsor, Fred Astaire and Cary Grant. It now runs 29 stores across the UK, including two back on Jermyn Street itself.
