Herse 1868
Visit websiteBogusław Herse opened a fashion house in Warsaw in 1868, initially with a partner who left the business not long after; within a year his brothers Adam and Ferdynand had joined, and the three built it into one of the most prominent fashion houses in Central and Eastern Europe. Its Marszałkowska Street building held four full floors, a fitting room, a presentation space for collections, a tailor's workshop and living quarters for the owners. The business didn't survive the communist era intact, and the Herse name has only been revived and put back into production in more recent years.
