Kit Blake isn't a real person. The name comes from "Kit," a nickname for co-founder Chris Modoo, and "Blake," the first street he lived on, a pseudonym Modoo had used years earlier while doing alterations work on Savile Row. He and entrepreneur Richard Wheat launched the London-based label under that name in 2018, focusing specifically on trousers cut in a Savile Row style. The pieces are made in Italy from a mix of British and Italian cloths.
