Lanificio Colombo
Visit websiteLanificio Colombo was established in the 1960s between the Piedmont towns of Borgosesia and Ghemme, focused specifically on rare fibers (cashmere, kid cashmere, yangir, guanaco, vicuña and camel) rather than the wool most Italian mills work with. The entire process, from selecting raw fiber through spinning and weaving, happens across those same two historic facilities. It remains a specialist supplier to the luxury fashion industry rather than a brand selling under its own name.
