LC King Mfg
Visit websiteLandon Clayton King spent 25 years as a salesman in his brother's wholesale dry goods business before founding L.C. King Manufacturing Company in Bristol, Tennessee in January 1913, aiming to make workwear tough enough for farm labor and quail hunting. He named the first clothing line Pointer Brand after the hunting dogs he raised and admired for their ruggedness and character. King worked at the factory until his death in 1954, and it's remained in family hands for four generations since, the oldest cut-and-sew factory in America still owned and run by its founding family.
