Michael Jondral trained under Heinrich Zapke at the store "Heinrich" and eventually became its managing director, shaping its brand strategy, before starting his own haberdashery with his wife Bettina in 2007 on Karmarschstraße. The business moved to Theaterstraße in Hanover in 2013, where it's remained an owner-managed family operation ever since. It's the only stockist for the Neapolitan house E. Marinella anywhere in German-speaking Europe.
