Alberto Ziveri and four others, all with five years' experience in the clothing industry, founded Opera Campi in Italy in 2017 around a single raw material: hemp. The brand designs and develops its own hemp fabrics domestically rather than sourcing them from elsewhere, tracing back to the founders' discovery of a pond once used in hemp production more than a century earlier. It donates 4% of profits to social causes and keeps its supply chain deliberately local throughout.
