Gianfranco Barizza and Aronne Miola founded Forall Confezioni S.p.A. in Quinto Vicentino, near Vicenza, in 1970, initially producing formal clothing for other labels before launching their own brand, Pal Zileri, in 1980, named after the Palazzo Zileri, a historic building in Vicenza's old center. Jackets are still built through 140 to 180 manual steps per piece, blending industrial-scale production with artisanal technique rather than choosing one over the other. Mayhoola Group bought a majority stake in 2014 and took full ownership in 2016.
