Jennifer Brown started Pampeano in 2008 after a trip to Argentina's La Pampa region, where friends invited out to play polo introduced her to a culture where leather craftsmanship was simply part of daily life. She began working with local Argentine artisans to make handcrafted leather polo equipment and accessories, and the belt (made from Argentine leather and hand-stitched with wax-dipped saddlery thread) became the brand's signature piece. Pampeano has since shifted from a polo-focused label toward broader fashion accessories, pairing that same Argentine leatherworking tradition with a distinctly British design sensibility.
