Raleigh Denim Workshop
Visit websiteA husband-and-wife team founded Raleigh Denim in Raleigh, North Carolina in 2008, choosing to root the brand explicitly in the state's deep denim-manufacturing history rather than start somewhere new. Jeans are made in-house at a combined storefront and workshop on West Martin Street, using vintage machinery operated by individual makers the brand calls "jeansmiths," each of whom signs their own work inside the finished pair. It's remained family-owned and operated since founding, built around the stated goal of making better jeans rather than faster or louder ones.
