Brothers William and Thomas Sanders founded their shoemaking business in Rushden, Northamptonshire in 1873, after William trained as a clicker in London and returned home with a plan to build something lasting alongside his brother. The company has stayed in that same English shoemaking region for more than 150 years since. Boots and shoes are still built around that original shared vision of durable, well-constructed footwear.
