Sartoria1860 traces back to 1860, to a small workshop in the Santa Francesca district of Veroli, in Italy's Ciociaria region, and the business is now run by the fifth generation of the same family under Picarazzi Abbigliamento s.r.l. Every shirt is made to order rather than produced in batches, a deliberate choice the brand frames as respecting that each customer's build and preferences differ. What started as a purely in-person, artisanal shop only later added an online store, without changing how the shirts themselves get made.
