Scarosso
Visit websiteScarosso, operated by Scarosso Srl under parent company The Level Srl, builds its shoes around reinterpreting classic Italian silhouettes rather than departing from them entirely. Most collections are made in Montegranaro, in Italy's Marche region, one of the country's most established footwear districts, through a network of family-run ateliers where the trade has been passed down for generations. Leather comes largely as a byproduct of the food industry rather than purpose-raised cattle, and shoes are built using Blake, Blake Rapid or cemented construction depending on the model, with prototypes still shaped by hand on a wooden last before being digitally scanned for production.
