Sid Mashburn built his eponymous label in 2007 around the kind of old-school menswear shop he remembered from childhood, part fraternity house, part gentlemen's club, staffed by salesmen who doubled as style advisors. The brand still keeps its tailors working out on the shop floor rather than hidden in back, and designs everything to move comfortably between Mississippi, Manhattan and Milan: Italian-made sartorial suits with a natural shoulder and full canvas alongside American slim-straight blue jeans. Mashburn sources from the same mills and tanneries used by luxury houses, but prices the results more accessibly.
