Skippers Mill
Visit websiteSkippers Mill builds its jumpers on Shima Seiki whole-garment knitting machines, Japanese-pioneered technology that knits each sweater in one seamless piece rather than assembling it from separate panels, powered by renewable electricity and producing no fabric waste. The house style runs on Shetland-style wool, roughly half lambswool for softness and half thicker British wool for character, dyed and blended in northeast Scotland and washed in soft Scottish lowland water. Once knitted, every jumper still passes through a hand-finishing department where it's sewn, washed and checked by hand before it ships.
