Visit websiteSydney Cope opened his shop in Leeds in 1948 with a simple aim: cut impeccable garments from the finest Yorkshire fabrics available, building a name in cavalry twills, Hebden Bridge corduroy and Huddersfield worsted yarns. The business passed from Sydney to his son Geoffrey and today runs under his grandson Simon Cope, staying a family operation across three generations. Skopes has since grown from bespoke trousers into a full ready-to-wear collection, while keeping its roots firmly in Yorkshire.
