Thomas Pink was founded in London in 1984 by three Irish brothers, James, Peter, and John Mullen, who named the company after Thomas Pink, an eighteenth-century Mayfair tailor. LVMH bought a 70% stake in 1999 and the remainder in 2003, and in 2014 the company won a UK trademark case against Victoria's Secret over its use of the name "Pink." The original business closed in 2020, and the brand was relaunched in 2024 under new ownership, Icon Luxury Group and CP Brands Group.
