Unbound Merino was started by three lifelong friends who spent their teenage years following bands around the US and saving for their next trip. Their travels led them to merino wool, which performed well outdoors but was typically sold as logo'd technical activewear rather than something you'd wear to a restaurant or a museum; wanting both at once, they spent years researching and prototyping with manufacturing partners to develop their own merino clothing. The brand's philosophy is built around a simple idea: pack less, and travel with fewer, more versatile pieces.
