Weirloom was founded by Thomas, the founder of Denimhunters, who spent nearly two decades studying and selling jeans before setting out to make one simple, well-fitting pair rather than the most complicated jeans on the market. Its denim is woven in Italy from 100% cotton, then cut and sewn in Europe. The name is a play on "heirloom," after the idea that a good pair of jeans used to be something worn for years and kept.
