Wythe was started by founder Peter Middleton, who set out to remake the icons of American style he felt had lost their character in mass retail: the oxford shirt, the denim pearl snap, the grey sweatshirt worn in by wear. The label's collections take their names from that same reference pool, evoking Americana touchstones like the Adirondack great camps and cross-country caravans. Its range spans shirts, denim, sweatshirts, and leather garments, aiming for pieces built to be passed down rather than replaced each season.
